The Tigers and the Dubbo Rhinos are both on 37 points with third placed Coonabarabran on 27 points.
The Tigers and Eagles entertained the crowd with both sides playing a high standard of rugby.
The Tigers were first to score with a try to their number 8 Frenchman Brice Bousquet which was converted by Damien Taylor.
The Eagles replied with good expansive rugby which saw their winger score out wide and successfully converted.
Once again the Tigers front row of George Quigley, Chris O'Shea and Trent Heckendorf were proving too good for their opponents.

The Eagles backline was threatening when in possession, and only desperate defence kept them from scoring more tries.
Trangie took the lead when Captain Mick Oriel forced himself over the line to have the Tigers in front 12-7 at half-time.
In the second half the Tigers forward dominance lead to three more tries; one each to inside cente Damien Taylor, players' player, half back and fellow Frenchman Fabien Faber who only arrived in Australia last Wednesday, and outside centre Brenton Montgomery.
The Tigers take on defending premiers the Dubbo Rhinos at 7pm this Friday at Caltex Oval, Dubbo.
The winner will most likely be minor premiers and will host the major semi in five weeks' time.
