First of all I have two apologies to make. Betty Green was in the winning team with Maida O'Mally last week in the Bootle-Browning 4BBB with 42 pts and not Sandy Mack who partnered Jeanette O'Brien doing very well with 40pts.

A very interesting incident happened on the second hole (over channel) this day instead of teaching a ball to swim, Dale Harding (who has a remote controlled bag and trolley) bent over with control switch in pocket and unwittingly sent bag, sticks and trolley flying into water-filled channel.
Dale's remote controlled trolley no longer works and would like a lift in a cart for Saturday's golf game.
Nice to see our patron Nancy Elrington join, enjoy our luncheon and company this day after golf along with Anne Harmer and Darelle Frazer.
The nine ladies who spent last weekend in Warren for the Far West Bowl and Open Tournament had a very entertaining and enjoyable time.
The only trophy brought home was a ball won by Anne Harmer in the raffle.
Tomorrow August 1 will see Chosen Holes event with Joan Collins' Trophy.
Tuesday August 4 first round Championships A B C grades 18 holes, with Jean Gordon Memorial Trophy.
Wednesday August 5 second round championships 18 holes Robyn Jones Trophy. 36 holes (1st and 2nd rounds) Maida O'Mally Trophy
