What what a match it was. Some great rugby along with some intense pressure leading to errors of judgment and handling.
Narromine led 5-0 at oranges and trailed 5-7 with 10 minutes left on the clock.
Justin Bennett was having an absolute blinder: rampaging runs and never far from the action.
James Churchward at breakaway was strong over the ball and "cleaned out" like a veteran.
Joe Williams stayed with his ball runners. John Corderoy and James O'Malley had massive games.
Lachy Bible, NSW's new breakaway (go Lachy), was undeterred by Wello's big runners.
He tackled for keeps and charged ahead with the ball on many occasions.
The pressure led to several missed opportunities for Narromine points, before Wellington grabbed a late penalty kick to finish worthy winners in a close match (5-10).
Both the Under 13s and 15s (and the Senior Gorillas) are off to sunny Orange tomorrow.
GO THE GORILLAS!
