This is a one-of-a-kind national event on the Australian aviation calendar and everyone is invited to attend.
Sport Aircraft Association of Australia Treasurer and National Councillor, David Brown is very excited about what the coming days will bring.
"Ausfly aims to give people a close-up look at what all facets of general aviation are about," he said,
"The single most important feature is inspiring children, who one day may become pilots of anything from a small ultralight or glider through to an RAAF jet."
Mr Brown said there was something there for everyone.
"We've got between 300 and 400 aeroplanes," he said.
"We have the Big War Birds that are basing themselves here for two days, so the kids and the big kids can talk to crews and have a close look.
"That's a mega thing."
Mr Brown said you wouldn't be disappointed walking around Ausfly.
"There will be hundreds of aircrafts from all around Australia and performing on Friday and Saturday will be the country's leading airshow performers in a wide range of aircraft from an ag plane water bombing to a military jet trainer, eye-watering aerobatics and the ever-popular RAAF Roulettes,"
