In attendance at the meeting on Monday, April 4 was Member for Dubbo, Troy Grant, Dubbo Electorate Council chairman Peter Bartley and Dubbo Branch chairman Darren Borger.
Mr Bartley said the meeting was well attended and the group resolved to take steps to reform the Trangie branch.
"The Trangie branch has been dormant for many years but now there is great interest in its revival," he said.
"With the Nationals in government both at a state level and federally, access to ministers and advisers is readily available."
From here, interested Trangie community members are invited to a formation meeting at the Imperial Hotel on Saturday, July 23 to elect office bearers and open a bank account.
A guest speaker will be present.
