The annual Trangie Magpie’s Pink Day will raise money for the McGrath Foundation as they do every year.
The team will discard their usual black and white and play pretty in pink for the special cause. Following the game, the players’ jerseys will be available for auction with all profits going to the breast cancer charity.
The day kicks off at midday with the league tag ladies taking on the Dundedoo Swans. At 1pm the men’s league will play the Dunedoo Swans as well. At 3.15 codes will change with the Trangie Tigers playing in the major semi-final. The boys in gold and black are currently undefeated and are aiming for a 2016 premiership.
The fun continues after the games with everyone heading back to the Trangie Bowling Club. It’s here spectators can bid on the Magpie jerseys, there will be the famous pink chooks, cakes and various NRL memorabilia.
Two massive gate raffles will also keep the crowd entertained and Johnny Clark’s travelling farm is attending.
