The Trangie Tigers made the long trip to Orange last Saturday to record a comfortable 57-7 win against the bottom placed Aggies.
The Tigers were disadvantaged from the start when, due to Aggies having no experienced front rower, the scums were made non-contested.
The Tigers big score came off the back of nine tries.
Three went to winger Sam Barrett, two went to replacement back Tim Symonds and one each to man-of- the-match Damian Tegart, captain Mick Oriel and props George Quigley and Todd Erickson.
Chris O’Shea was able to convert six of the tries.
The Aggies crossed over for one converted try.
That was the last round of the competition.
This Saturday the two semi-finals will be played.
The major semi-final will be between Narromine and Geurie at Narromine.
The minor semi-final will be between the Trangie Tigers and the Molong Magpies at Molong’s Dr Ross Memorial Recreation Ground staring at 3.15pm.
The Tigers have organised a coach to take players and supporters to the game.
The coach will be leaving at 10.45am from the Trangie main street and there will be a 12 noon pick up at the South Dubbo Tavern. The cost is $20 per person which includes the entry fee.
The Tigers encourage as many supporters as possible to travel to Molong to support the Tigers in this sudden death game.
GORILLAS
The Gorillas have finished the regular season undefeated after beating the Molong Magpies 36-3 in a physical match.
The boys return to Cale Oval for the first round of the finals where they will take on the Geurie Goats.
The winner will earn the right to host the grand final on September 2.
The Gorillas encourage all their supporters to make their way to Cale Oval on Saturday to be a part of the semi-final fun.
