The Narromine girls were disadvantaged from the start with only having 9 players due to injury and girls being away.
Wanderers had a full team of 11 players plus two substitutes on the bench.
Narromine’s goal keeper Kristen Clark had a great game as usual keeping the opposition scoreless for the first 30 minutes with some great saves.
The back line of Kristie Silk,Caitlin Poulson and Chantelle Walsh were in fine form keeping the Wanderers forwards from breaking through on multiple occasions.
Then 15 mins from the break the Wanderers striker had a shot which slid past the keeper to give the opposition a one to nil advantage.
A few minutes later Narromine’s flying centre-half Tilly Irvine broke through the Wanderers back line and had a cracking shot at goal but was denied by a good save from the keeper.
The girls come out firing in the second half with the striker Lana Walsh having a couple of shots but couldn't get one in the back of the net.
The girls were giving it everything they had but eventually run out of puff with final score one to nil.
Coach Jason Poulson couldn't be happier with the way his girls have performed throughout the season.
