Officers attached to the Orana Mid-Western Police District have made two significant arrests in relation to a pair of alleged separate break-ins at in Narromine.

About 8am on Monday, a 49-year-old woman was in her home on Peak Hill Road when two men broke into the home.
The woman allegedly confronted the men in the hallway, causing them to run from the scene, before entering a vehicle and driving away.
Police attended and commenced inquiries. As a result, at about 6.40pm on Wednesday, a 29-year-old man was arrested after a foot pursuit on High Street, Dubbo.
He was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with aggravated break, enter and steal, as well as two counts of enter enclosed lands and one count of malicious damage.
He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Thursday, where he was remanded in custody to reappear on Wednesday, July 11.
In a separate incident, between 8am and 4.45pm on Tuesday, a rural property on Tomingley Road, Narromine, was allegedly broken into, with numerous items of property and a rifle reported to be stolen.
Officers from Orana Mid-Western general duties, the Target Action Group and detectives commenced inquiries.
About 10.45am on Thursday, a 27-year-old man was arrested at a home on Carling Circuit, Dubbo.
He was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with break, enter and steal, receiving stolen property, breach of bail, and an unrelated arrest warrant was executed.
He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Friday.
The firearm has not yet been recovered and inquiries continue into this incident and other offences in Narromine.
