Narromine mayor Craig Davies thanked the Minister and Mr Grant for visiting and said council was committed to supporting tourism and the visitor economy, with work underway on a new visitors guide.
Mr Grant said he was pleased the Minister chose to visit Narromine, giving council the opportunity to highlight what the shire has to offer. “The council briefed the Minister and I on their growth and development strategies and their plans to continue to promote the area as an attractive and affordable tourist destination,” Mr Grant said.
Minister Marshall said he enjoyed his visit to Narromine and commended council on their work to increase the communities profile as an attractive tourist destination.
