Narromine Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) brigade have celebrated retained firefighter Tony Coen’s 15 years of service to FRNSW and the Narromine community.

Mr Coen was presented the award by Narromine Fire Station Commander Ewen Jones, who described Mr Coen as a “good, honest and reliable member of the team”.
“He’s a really good firefighter and a very humble man. He just wanted to do the ceremony over a cup of tea and didn’t want a big fuss,” Commander Jones said.
Mr Coen joined FRNSW with the Narromine brigade on the June 1, 2003, not only serving Narromine he also attends incidents and training every second week with the Nyngan FRNSW brigade.
Mr Coen is the grandson of the late Fred Coen who was also a RFF in Narromine from 1957 until 1988.
