Kevin Kropinyeri is bringing his comedy show to Narromine to support the Jets’ first grade player Chris Wilcox, who received a serious neck injury earlier last month during their clash against the Wellington Cowboys.

As a result Wilcox is required to wear a special brace for about six weeks, and will be off work for an anticipated three months.

“Chris has a young family and the Narromine community is rallying with the support of the Jets to raise funds to try and alleviate some of the financial pressure during this difficult time,” club supporter Sally Everett explained.

Community members and Kropinyeri have organised the event to be held at the Narromine USMC on Friday, July 20 with doors opening at 6.30pm.

“Kevin is a high energy performer. Sharpe, likeable, silly and measured, mixing keen observational standup with joyfully ridiculous physical comedy,” she said.

“It’s not often that Narromine gets the opportunity to see live performances of this calibre so get your friends together for a great night out,” Ms Everett said.

Tickets are $50 and available from the USMC, Royal Hotel or through the Jets Facebook page. There will also be an auction and blind raffles on the night.
