A Victorian community has seen the suffering farmers in New South Wales have gone through because of the drought and have dug deep to donate to a charity drive.

Social media group ‘Crazy For Ewe’, which is based in South Gippsland, Victoria, will be heading to Dubbo on August, 26, with a semi trailer of 18 pallets full of feed for livestock and farm animals.
Everything is coming in 20 kilograms of oats barley, lamb and ewe supplements, dog food and cat food.
“All of that has been sponsored an donated by general public in south Gippsland,” a Crazy for Ewe spokesperson said.
“We just want to get as much feed up there as possible.”
They are also being supported by been supported by Pet Stock in Somerville.
A semi-trailer has been donated to the drive, plus two fuel companies provided the social media group fuel vouchers.
A local business donated $400 towards fuel as well.
Victorian business Pakenham Produce and Saddlery will also host a fundraising day on August 11, where the community can sponsor a bag of oats, barley or dog food and write a message for drought stricken farmers.
It just lets farmers know when they read those message that people are behind them 100 per cent.

The donations will be loaded onto a pallet, which Crazy for Ewe are taking to Dubbo.
“It just lets farmers know when they read those message that people are behind them 100 per cent,” the spokesperson said.
“Which gives them a sense that people do care.”
The spokesperson said they have seen in the media how the drought has taken its toll on NSW farmers, and while the wider community want to help, they don’t know where to start.
“It just helps bridge that so people can actually assist,” the spokesperson said.
“Everyone down here is thinking about what’s going on, but feel really helpless, so we’re just connecting all of the dots.”
Crazy for Ewe has been involved with drought support groups, including Aussie Helpers and Drought Angels, as well as runs with Need for Feed.
“Every little bit helps,” the spokesperson said. “Our motto is ‘from big things, little things grow.’”
Crazy for Ewe will unload the donations at the Aussie Helpers depot at Dubbo.
