Narromine Region situated on the tranquil Macquarie River just a thirty minute drive west of Dubbo, is the perfect spot to stop and enjoy the delights of Country NSW.
Council’s General Manager Jane Redden said while Dubbo will benefit economically and socially from the Royal visit the Narromine Shire are hoping to capture travellers in the Region at that time.

“Hopefully travellers choose to stay a while and experience Central NSW,” Ms Redden said.
“There is so much to do in our region including experiencing the real feeling of flying high in a two seater glider” she said.
Narromine is internationally renowned for its gliding locations and gliding is an experience that should not be overlooked.
Narromine Region is also home to luxurious boutiques, unique cafes, quaint country pubs and endless attractions that are a ‘must see.’
The Royals, along with the expected 15,000 visitors to the Region, will arrive in Dubbo on October 17, 2018 with the final itinerary still to be confirmed.
