On Thursday Narromine and Trangie Libraries will be handing out chocolates, and a box of chocolates is up for grabs for anyone who borrows on the day.
Manager of Macquarie Regional Library Kathryn McAlister said Library Lovers’ Day is also a chance to celebrate everything that your local library offers.

“There are plenty of reasons to love your library this Library Lovers’ Day,” Ms McAlister said.
“Our libraries offer the latest books, DVDs, CDs and magazines for people to take home, provide internet access, hold regular activities such as Storytime for children, and run workshops for learning new skills like coding or getting started online - and they provide all of this and more for free,” Ms McAlister said.
The library also offers a wide range of online resources, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, and the new online film streaming service Kanopy, which patrons can access for free, anytime, anywhere.
Everyone is encouraged to visit their local library on Thursday, February 14 and join in with the celebrations.
More information is available on the Library’s website mrl.nsw.gov.au or search for Macquarie Regional Library on Facebook.
