Event directors Ginni Brown, Kerry Roberts and Kelli Piddington began planning six months ago to establish the free community event.
The trio have been able to raise $7000 to kick-start the program in town thanks to the help of the Narormine Shire Council and local sporting clubs.
“We had to raise $7000 which has been raised by all local clubs and businesses which is amazing,” Ms Brown said.

“The council did half but the netball clubs, and the rugby clubs all put in to help get it off the ground, which I think is a really lovely thing.”
Parkrun is enjoyed across Australia with approximately 350 locations, and 524,752 Parkrun participants.
Its aims are to get more communities involved in exercise to help improve mental health and build social cohesion.
The event takes place each Saturday morning at 8am, and participants can walk, jog or run five kilometres.
“You basically only compete only to better your own time,” Ms Brown said.
“Its free, regular and it’s a great way to increase your activity.”
A trial run was hosted last weekend, which Ms Brown said had a “wonderful” turnout with 12 participants, and said another will be hosted this Saturday prior to the official launch on March 2.
Ms Brown is encouraging all members of the community to come along to the opening, even just to take a look.
“We’re really excited about the launch, we will have a coffee and food van and we just encourage everyone to come down,” Ms Brown said.
“You don’t even have to participate, just have breakfast and check it out.
“Talk to us about whatever you might be interested in volunteering or running.
“We are really trying to encourage people to volunteer as well.
“Nobody’s being paid to do anything on the ground at Parkrun, we do it all on a volunteer basis.
“So if you do take part you sort of undertake volunteering as part of it to keep it going for everyone.”
The committee are expecting almost 200 people and are hoping that will help generate enough interest to sustain the event.
“People can come one week or 50 weeks a year it will always be on.”
Ms Brown said anyone under 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
