Home Library Service
The home library service is a free delivery service of library resources to people in their homes, retirement villages or nursing homes. The service is available to all residents of the Macquarie Regional Library service and deliveries are made by volunteers or staff. A referral from a medical professional is required. The service can be provided on a permanent or temporary basis, to aged or frail, carers, people with disabilities, children of housebound people, and residents of nursing homes and retirement villages. Resources that can be provided include books, audio books, DVD’s, CD’s and magazines. Need more information about this service? Then give us a call or pop in and see us.
