Coming off the back of an extremely successful Macquarie Picnic Races, The Trangie Gold Cup will Race on March 23.
President Andy Mackinnon promises that this is a day you and the family won’t want to miss.

With a luncheon available for patrons as well as a jumping castle for the kids, the Trangie Gold Cup is a Race Meeting that can be enjoyed by all.
Coinciding this year with the State Government election day, Mr Mackinnon encourages the community to drop in after placing their votes.
Mr Mackinnon said he is looking forward to showcasing the first class community spirit of the Trangie community.
“The Trangie Tigers Rugby Club will be joining us for their pre season get together and warmly invite supports and players to come along," Mr Mackinnon said.
"We are also pleased to welcome back the hospitality of the Trangie Church of England who have been supporting us throughout our entirety.”
Mr Mackinnon is also expecting to see good fields on the six-race day with increased prize money for non tab race meetings in the country recently announced.
“This is a race meeting that the Trangie Community is very proud to host," he said.
"It is a day that can be enjoyed by all and we look forward to seeing new and returning faces."
Mr Mackinnon is also assuring people won't miss the action of the Golden Slipper Day, with TV camera's around the course for people to watch Winx grace the turf poised to chase her 32nd consecutive win.
Gates open at 11am, with a free luncheon from 12.30pm until 1.30pm with the first race to start at 1.30pm.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children and pensioners with all children under 15 free.
