Saturday's match against Cowra saw our Boys square the ledger up for the round one loss, with Aaron Hutchison rink and Aaron Clark reversing their loss in round one with very good wins.
Robbie Stanford and Co kept the Master board in Check, which was good enough to ensure a 09/01 win and a Plus margin of 15.
This now makes it very interesting with Forbes winning the other match, in so much as it would take two Shockers for the Grade 3 Squad to miss the Pennant playoffs and that isn't going to happen is it boys!
Our grade 05 squad travelled to Coonabarabran on Sunday and they too squared the ledger up, albeit the wrong way with a 01/09 loss.
This now means with just 2 rounds to play they need to win their last couple of games, starting with Coonamble at Home this Sunday.
Once again I cannot give you the squads because a few players are AWOL this weekend, but as soon as we know what's happening they will be posted on the noticeboard.
Sunday saw a couple of games of Championship matches played with Ben Clark having a morning out against President Kevie in their deferred A-grade singles Clash.
In a great game of consistency singles Aaron Clark just Nudged out Robbie Stanford to advance to the Semi-finals of this event.
So this Saturday will see 4 quarter-final matches in the A-grade Singles and one or two semi-finals in the Consistency Singles event.
The games set down for Saturday are:
Game 1: Aaron Hutchison v Adam Jermyn.
Game 2: Sam Crook v Steve Riley.
Game 3: Robbie Stanford v Ben Clark,
Game 4: Danny Carnevale v John Edwards.
In the Consistency singles Peter Cross will take on Aaron Clark.
All these matches will be set down for Play at 1.30pm Saturday.
It is Hoped that the other Consistency Singles match between Lionel Ayoub and Danny Carnevale will be Played during the week in the hope that final can be Played the following Saturday.
Nominations for the A-grade Pairs are now being called for with the entry sheet which has all the details about dates etc has been posted on the noticeboard and intending teams have approximately one month to get themselves organised.
Social Bowls
This week saw some 16 players go round on Thursday, with John Binch and Adam Jermyn picking up the majority of the chocolates on offer.
John Binch was at it again on Sunday making it a double for the week, when he teamed up with Clifton Harris and Kevin Short to Claim the best card of the day.
Well that's it for me for another week, keep in rolling boys.
Trivia night:
Narromine Bowling Club hosted another successful trivia night last Tuesday with some $2200 going towards the Narromine High School Group venturing to Vietnam to help build a school for the needy.

GERRIES' GOLF
WINS FOR FERRARI AND GAINSFORD
Last Saturday saw a good field for the weekly Gerrie's golf competition played at 'Royal' Narromine Golf Course.
Twenty-two players in all took part with 10 girls on the front nine and 12 men on the back nine.
In the Ladies' division the winner was Peta Ferrari with a fine round of 23 stableford points.
Close behind were two golfers on 21 points, Marie Houghton and Vicky Gainsford with Houghton taking second place on a countback.
Once again there was no NTP winner for the ladies so this will jackpot until the next summer as this was the last Saturday morning comp for the ladies.
In the men's division, winner on the day was Peter Gainsford with a great round of 26 points. Well done Peter.
The men's event was another close one with three players tied on 24 points, Tiger Berryman, Ross King and Mal Richardson, with Tiger taking the prize after the count backs were decided.
Terry Willis won the men's NTP and took home two glorious Srixon golf balls as his prize.
The overall NAGA prize (Fletch Award) for the day went to Maida O'Malley who defeated none other than Bob Fletcher for the coveted prize.
The pool competition for the day attracted a large field which was narrowed down to a final between Bob Fletcher and Peter Gainsford against Gus Smith and Mal Richardson.
I am reliably informed it was an easy win for Gus and Mal who became the weekly pool champions.
It must be mentioned here that the Gerrie's Business House team are leading the competition which finishes this week so good luck to the team.
Next Saturday is the last Saturday competition for the Gerries' in this summer comp with hit-off at 9.00am.
The first match of the winter competition will be on Wednesday April 10 with the hit-off at 3.00pm.
See you all on the tee.
