Students travelled to Trangie by coach and visited Miss Brabrook's family's farm, sang some songs at the retirement villas, enjoyed a bonfire, some poetry and a camp oven dinner and then slept in the school hall.
The next day students visited the Auscott Cotton Gin for a guided tour and then learnt about local aboriginal culture at the Trangie Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
After a barbecue lunch students travelled back to Dubbo where they were greeted by parents and carers.
A great time was had by all and a huge thank you to the staff for organising this excursion for the students to enjoy.
