Narromine Shire mayor Craig Davies was on hand to personally welcome the new residents at the event at Soul Food, which aimed to help the newcomers meet people and learn more about the town.
Councillor Davies said it was a "fantastic" night.
He said the evening was ideal for newcomers to start building their contacts and connections within the community.
"It was just a great opportunity to meet those new people and help them where we can, to find different things within the community.
"It was just a really good night, it was great.
