"Part of our community strategic plan is to provide opportunities for community members to participate in the council's decision-making processes," Narromine Shire Council General Manager Jane Redden said.
"Community members are still encouraged to speak however, speaking prior to a council meeting will allow for more time-efficient and effective council meetings," she said.
All changes comply with the Model Code of Meeting Practice 2019 to be enacted from July 1, 2019.
The council's website has been updated with the information and relevant application form for speaking at public forum.
