Over 80 people attended the Narromine USMC on Friday, July 5 coming together for a shared future.
Guest speaker was Narromine's own Sally Riley, who is a director of the ABC and has produced a number of programs including the housewives of Narromine.
The Narromine Local Aboriginal Land Council boys dance group opened the celebrations, and Aunty Col Smith was named Elder of the Year for her volunteer work within the community, including meals on wheels, palliative care, St Vinnies and the Cancer Council.

A minute silence was given to pay respect to community community members, volunteers, coaches, Aunties, Uncles and grandparents that have already passed, but had been in important light to the path of success and opportunity for the community.
CEO of the Narromine Local Aboriginal Lands Council Shelly Bayliss said the night was an opportunity to acknowledge community members for their contributions.
"Our community is lucky to have the support of four wonderful schools and a preschool who all supported the LALC dinner," she said.
"We recognise the work of the Aboriginal Education assistants in each of the schools and presented them with a set of clap sticks as a thank you for connecting our kids and families to education."
