The Wellington Redbacks are in this year's Oilplus Cup grandfinal. The team have played an amazing season and all of the community are encouraged to attend and help support the local side. - Giddy up to the Narromine races
Narromine, August 11
The Narromine Gold Cup is back on August 11 from 12pm until 6pm. This year the Narromine Turf Club are celebrating the Jack Walsh Memorial and the Douglas Egan Memorial. There will be plenty of live entertainment, food, full bar, jumping castle, face painting and fashions on the field along with the six-race program. Dubbo, August 10
Australian X-Factor phenomenon Dami Imm will be in Dubbo this Saturday at the RSL Club performing live from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. It is a ticketed event with VIP available for $85. Wellington Arts are holding their annual Winter Art Exhibition until August 16, but if you're looking for something to do this week why not check it out?! The Winter Art Exhibition will be held in the Old Western Stores Building located at 33-40 Nanima Crescent. The exhibitions are extremely diverse and cover a wide range of topics, styles and media. This weekend Dubbo Book Connection will celebrate Love Your Local Bookshop Day during a free event from 10:30am. There will be a storytime, face painting and arts and crafts session. There will also be a 'guess the number of lollies' competition and lucky draw prizes.
