Earlier this year the Narromine Shire Council invited the community to provide feedback on the draft concept plans for the Trangie Sporting Precinct.
The plans outlined the proposed upgrades to the facility including objectives to create a multi-functional park for the entire community, create multipurpose spaces, enhance the landscape, improve accessibility, improve visitation and achieve long term sustainability.

The community was asked to vote for their preferred option via an online link, with option A receiving 67 per cent of votes.
Narromine Shire Council's General Manager Jane Redden said it was great to so many members of the Trangie community provide feedback.
"Council will now work to identifying potential funding opportunities to enable the works to be completed," she said.
The concept plan includes up to 41 improvements ranging from new multi-use courts and a central club house to upgraded BBQ areas and playground improvements.
The concept plan can be found at on the council's website.
