While the committee have been working hard hosting a number of working bees around the three courts, a junior tennis camp and a social competition, Ms McDonald said the club are still in need of financial support.
"We are still in need of financial support to utilise an additional two courts and maintain our insurances, and so any donations and/or sponsorship would be appreciated," she said.
The club are planning a launch event in September and will begin weekly social game nights on Tuesdays for adults and Friday nights for kids.

The secretary also said the club will be running a Foundations Coaching Course on September 22, free for anyone aged 14 and above who are interested in learning skills to help coach other players.
