Rave at Riverfest

Riverfest 2019 is for those who wouldn't mind a day of sitting on the banks of the Macquarie River, while tasting some barbecued meats and quenching their thirst, all while listing to live music. The event is being held from 2pm to 8pm at the Lazy River Estate, 29R Old Dubbo Road. Tickets required.
Car lovers dream
Ballimore, September 21
Dubbo Motorcyclists and Drivers Club will hold their Show'N'Shine at the Hair of the Dog Inn at Ballimore. There will be a $200 cash prize for the best car in show plus other prizes and trophies for cars to be won. Jumping castle, live music and food available. The event will commence at 12pm. Entry is $10.
Trivia and karaoke night
Narromine September 21,
Narromine firefighters are fundraising hard as Retained Firefighters Lynden Davis and Tony Coen prepare to climb Sydney Tower to tackle a devastating disease. The pair are in training for the 2019 Firefighters Climb for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) on November 9. Station 401 are hosting a trivia and karaoke night at the Narromine Aero Club from at 7pm to help them fundraise. There will also be an auction of donated items. Garden and arboretum guided tours
Mumbil, September 22
This free guided tour of the Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum will be offered between 11am and 3pm. Each tour will take approximately thirty minutes to one hour. Let your imagination run wild as you explore strange, colourful and spectacular shapes and smells of Hakeas, Wattles, Eucalyptus, Mint Bushes and many more.
Spring Fete

From 9:30am to 2:30 pm Macquarie Streets UPA Bracken House will host a family, fun Spring Fete. Included at this free event will be an auction filled with generous donations from the community, a sausage sizzle and a few performing acts, a jumping castle, face painting and much more.
School Fete
Narromine, September 20
St Augustine's parents and friends association are hosting their bi-annual School fete. There is plenty for everyone including trampolining, a petting farm, face painting, barbecue and more! The fete is at St Augustines, 10 Dandaloo Street, from 4pm until 8pm.
