Mother nature's volatility was on show again on Saturday when a dust storm hit the central west and created a dangerous reduction in visibility on our roads.

Places such as Narromine and Trangie, which was blanketed with dust saw winds with gusts recorded up to 69 kilometres per hour.
For three hours the Mitchell Highway between Trangie and Nevertire was closed due to low visibility and a motor vehicle accident at about 9.45am.
Three vehicles believed to have been involved in a collision on the highway were badly damaged but the occupants escaped without any serious injury.
Only 2 millimetres of rain fell in Dubbo at the weekend. Wellington received 6.4mm while Trangie received just 0.4mm.
Bourke and Cobar received no rain.
Warren Fire and Rescue NSW posted a video depicting showing the low visibility while driving. "Down to 15km/h due to very poor visibility. Always drive to the conditions," the post read.
