The level two water restrictions apply to all water users in Trangie and Tomingley including residents, visitors and businesses who receive water from the council's pressurised reticulation network.
The restrictions are in accordance with the 'odds and evens' scheme and will remain in place until further notice.
Properties with an even house number, i.e 2, 4, 6 are permitted to water their lawns and gardens on any dates of the month that are even numbers; June 2, 4, 6 and so on.
While the opposite applies for properties with an odd house number.

Narromine Shire Council General Manager Jane Redden said the restrictions are being implemented to conserve water in the Narromine region as the drought continues.
"These restrictions are essential to reduce the demand for treated water to ensure water quality and availability for our residents," she said.
"While it is not possible to predict the length of time the restrictions will be in place, Council will continue to monitor water levels and will keep the community up to date with any changes.
The level two water restrictions introduced in Trangie and Tomingley will join the current level three water restrictions in place in Narromine.
Ms Redden said businesses in the region are being encouraged to complete a Water Saving Action Plan on the council's website to assist in identifying ways to reduce their water consumption.
"The plan assesses your water usage, identifies ways to reduce water consumption and provides actions for communicating your water usage plans," she said.
Water usage in Narromine has reduced by 10 per cent, according to Ms Redden.
"Narromine residents have done a great job in reducing their water consumption since the introduction of water restrictions and with the help of the community we are hoping to reduce usage by another five per cent," she said.
