Recently 26 members of the Dubbo Outback Dragons competed in the Australian Masters Games at Westlakes in Adelaide.
The competition fielded teams from all states across Australia as well as teams from Singapore.
The two-day event was a great experience for the local members who participated in the 200m sprints in both 20s and 10s crews.

They also built on their teamwork skills, made new friends and improved their fitness.
The over 40s mixed 10s secured a third for the club.
On Sunday, paddlers went on to addend the Mudgee regatta at Windamere dam.
Crews were up against 18 teams from Sydney, Wagga, Canberra, Illawarra, Orange, Bathurst, Parkes, Forbes, Hawkesbury and Foster.
The women secured a silver medal in the 20-person 200m sprint, and two bronze medals for the men's and mixed teams.
Crew member Chris Robinson said the members enjoyed two competitions of great paddling.
"We had our lovely people from Trangie and Narromine helping us to win, helping out in the teams," she said.
"It was Mark Bouchier who was a medal winner, winning with the men's team on Sunday."
The Dubbo Dragon Boater's train on the Macquarie River and are always welcoming new members to the club, which caters for paddlers with a range of fitness and skill levels from beginners to experienced sports paddlers.
The group train on Thursday evenings at Sandy beach.
"We're always looking for more people to join us for some fun and fitness on the water," Ms Robinson said.

The Dubbo Outback Dragons began in 2005 and have since paddled at regattas in Hong Kong, Hobart, Cairns, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Port Macquarie, Kunanurra, Gold Coast, Adelaide, New Zealand, Wauchope, Orange and Bathurst.
They recently won a gold medal at the Pan Pacific Masters' games at the Gold Coast.
This weekend a crew from the Dubbo Outback Dragons will compete in the Dragons Abreast Canberra Social and Corporate Regatta in support of breast cancer research.
Organisers are expecting around 500 people on the day, with registrations from local businesses, hotels, consulting firms, government departments and European embassies. They are also hosting a number of Dragons Abreast teams from around Australia.
