The festive spirit was very evident as the Trangie community celebrated the Christmas season at Trangie Action Group's annual community Christmas party, which was held at the Trangie Bowling Club on December 14.
Although numbers were slightly down on previous years, entertainment value was certainly high.
Sky's the Limit, a professional children's entertainment business had plenty on offer to keep the children amused while the more senior members of the community tried their luck on the chocolate wheel in the hope of taking home a ham, a pork roast or a pack of prawns.
The event also saw the winding up of the ever-popular shop-n-win competition which had been running since November.
Lucky winners on the night were Joy Weckert, Ros Hayden, Noelene Rose and Sam Gillespie who each won $250 vouchers, while Michelle King won the major draw of vouchers to the value of $750.
The one-off piece of photography, donated by professional photographer Ron Bonham was won by J & P Cooper, while Mike Welch, Wayde Day and Fay Wallace won the minor prizes.
The Action Group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the Trangie Bowling Club and new members are always welcome.
