For those contemplating joining up, there's really not much to do, but it's all for a worthy cause.

First up, congratulations to Nel Paine, the winner of our giant Christmas stocking. Congratulations also to second and third prize winners, Susannah Tuck and Chris Skinner.

A big thank you to all those who supported the raffle, especially with contributions, and also with the purchase of tickets.

This year's Meals on Wheels roster has now been distributed, with our first week on duty beginning on February 17.

The first Auxiliary meeting for the year will be on Monday, February 17 at 2:30pm at the Community Centre. New members are always welcome.

We send best wishes with Shirley Allen, a long-standing member of the Hospital Auxiliary, and various other voluntary organisations in Narromine and also Narromine's Senior Citizen of the Year!

Mrs Allen and her husband are soon to move to Dubbo.

Therefore, we will be hosting an afternoon tea for Shirley on Monday February 24 at the Community Centre, from 2:30 pm.

We'd love to see past and present Auxiliary members there.

A small plate for the table would be appreciated.

Some of our members have recently had family members experience both the virtual doctor and the new Sara-Steady at the hospital and have high praise for how the nursing and physio staff are utilising both new technologies.
