Ms Mulloy said after watching the devastation of the bushfires on television, the trio decided they wanted to do something to help.
"We aren't in a financial position to donate cash, so we thought the next best thing was donations of needed items and our time," she said.
For the trio went down on February 22 and spent the weekend at a property outside of Cobargo helping Phillipe and Marie Claude.
Ms Mulloy said the couple had lost their house with just one shed remaining.
"Anthony was on the chainsaw along with Phillipe for most of the day clearing trees that had fallen on boundary fences, while Kim and myself loaded the wood and cleaned up fallen branches and general rubbish," she said.
"The devastation down there is heartbreaking until you see it with your own eyes, and not just on television, it's hard to believe how big in acres the fire was."
The most rewarding part of the experience for all three was being able to put a smile on the faces of those who had lost everything.
Ms Mulloy said they would have definitely return to help, and thanked the support of the community for donating items which they donated to the Cobargo bushfire relief centre.
The group thanked Inland Petroleum, Narromine Hardware, Brennans Mitre 10 Dubbo, Midwest Foods, Kennards Hire, along with donations by Sharon Kirk and Nathan Heckendorf who donated wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, buckets, gloves, washing powder, bug spray and cleaning products.
"We can't thank Brennans Mitre 10 enough, they bent over backwards for us," Ms Mulloy said.
"We'd like to thank Les Atkins who let us stay with him at Bermagui and even waited up until 3am to greet us."
