As part of NSW Women's Week and International Women's Day on March 8, Dubbo MP Dugald Saunders commended women across the Electorate who are making a difference in their communities.
Mrs McCutcheon took part in the inaugural Beat the Breakdown walk in 2018 to raise awareness of rural mental illness.
She and four other friends walked almost 100 kilometres from Warren to Narromine over two days , raising $14,000 which went to depression and suicide prevention in Shire.
Mrs McCutcheon is president of the Macquarie Picnic Races and during Mr Saunders' speech, he congratulated her on encouraging community engagement, especially during tough times.
"A crucial factor in helping communities through this drought," Mr Saunders said.
The mental health advocate owns the shop The Studio Trangie, which was heavily featured on the social media page 'buy from the bush' last year.
The Instagram account was created by Grace Brennan from Warren, to help link regional retails with metropolitan consumers.
It helped support many drought-affected businesses across the region over the Christmas period.
