Narromine residents will have the chance to meet user experience designer and Dragon Boat gold medallist Isabella Bain who was announced as the town's Australia Day ambassador for 2021.

Ms Bain is the co-founder of Ambient and Co, a user experience program which has used artificial intelligence and data modelling to help clinicians treat COVID-19.

In partnership with the Critical Care Consortium, Ms Bain has developed a system that uses de-identified COVID-19 patient data to help clinicians identify better patient outcomes.
This modelling is being used to save lives in more than 400 intensive care units in 51 countries.
She has also created interactive light sculptures for festivals such as VIVID Sydney and I-Light Marina in Singapore and has represented Australia as dragon boat competitor in two world championship competitions.
Narromine Shire Council mayor Craig Davies has welcomed the announcement.
"Isabella is a truly remarkable and inspirational young leader and I look forward to her participating in Narromine's Australia Day celebrations," he said.
Councillor Davies said Australia Day celebrations are important to recognise the contributions that individuals and groups make to the wider community.
