Another must see is the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka, built on the historic site of the 1854 Eureka Stockade rebellion.

Step back in time at the open-air museum Sovereign Hill and relive life after the 1851 gold rush.

In Bendigo, visit the Golden Dragon museum that includes the Yi Yuan Gardens, Guan Yin temple and the Dai Gum San forecourt.
