Tasmania’s very attractive East Coast is filled with turquoise beaches and some of the state’s most beautiful national parks.

The best example would be the captivating Freycinet National Park, which houses popular tourist attraction Wineglass Bay. And yes, it really is shaped like a wineglass!

There’s also the underrated Douglas-Apsley National Park near Bicheno. It’s home to river gorges, quiet waterholes and the breathtaking Apsley Falls.
