A teenager has been rushed to hospital with head injuries after he was allegedly beaten by two armed boys in a busy shopping centre.

Horrified shoppers watched on as the three boys, allegedly carrying a machete, axe and other bladed weapons, began fighting in Woodgrove Shopping Centre, Melton at 5pm on April 16.
Footage shows two of the teens picking up and throwing food court chairs during the brawl and running through the busy shopping centre carrying long blades.
Emergency services were called to Woodgrove, north west of Melbourne, where they found the injured 15-year-old.
Police intend to interview the boy about the alleged brawl after he's released from hospital, investigators said.
Charges laid
A 15-year-old boy from Melton South and 16-year-old boy from Harkness were arrested on the morning of April 17.
The 16-year-old was charged with affray, possessing a prohibited weapon and being armed with criminal intent.
The 15-year-old will be charged with affray, possessing a controlled weapon and being armed with criminal intent.
Both alleged offenders will face children's court on April 17.
Officers will patrol the shopping centre to reassure the public.
