A social media content creator had a chance encounter with one of Australia's most celebrated directors on a Sydney street, but she didn't realise it at the time.
TikToker Georgia Godworth was interviewing late-night revellers in Newtown when she pulled Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann aside to talk about his sex life.
She launched in by asking the Golden Globe winner, who is married to longtime collaborator and costume designer Catherine Martin, if he was single, dating or in a relationship.
"No," The 61-year-old said. "I'm married".
Then the TikToker got more than she bargained for, a rare and candid discussion about his views on marriage, fidelity and trust.
"During that journey of marriage, the person I'm married to and I found our own really genuine and authentic concept of what our contract to each other should be," he said.
"But I think more importantly, marriage is not so much about what exists between you and another person, it's about advertising to other people that you love and care as to what the dealio is.
"If you care about someone, they're your friend, but they fall in love with someone else or they like someone, there has to be some degree of acceptance.
"It's a contract of communication," he said.

Ms Godworth, who was nodding along, said "It's a loose contract where you can f--k other people occasionally. Monogamy's hard long-term and, you know, people come into your life".
"Let me think about that. I'm not sure what that means," he responded.
The Elvis director has spoken about his marriage in the past including in an interview with podcaster Louis Theroux on January 30.
He said he's been asked about his sexuality and relationship status repeatedly since the 1990s and has always responded "I see all possibilities, I always have".
The TikToker continued by asking about threesomes, foursomes and group sex before Mr Luhrmann shot back, asking how many four-way sexual interactions the interviewer had been in.
"Like six?" she responded.
"So, I mean, what is the point of the conversation we're having?" he asked.
The chat ended with Mr Luhrmann saying he usually doesn't agree to be interviewed but that he was "happy to be a part of yours".
"I'm honoured!" Ms Godworth said.
The viral video was posted to TikTok on May 30, with some clips from the Newtown interview with Mr Luhrmann also appearing in an April 8 video.
