The 62-year-old was arrested after four 12-year-old girls allegedly spotted the man following them on multiple occasions in the beachside Sydney suburb of Bondi.

The 12-year-olds first noticed the man at 1pm on January 24 when he allegedly pursued them through a shopping centre in Bondi Junction.
The girls ran away from the 62-year-old.
That evening, around 6pm, the teens were crossing a road in North Bondi when the man allegedly blocked a pedestrian crossing with his car, yelled at the girls and drove away.
Three days later, at 2.45pm on January 27, the teens were swimming at Bondi Beach when they allegedly spotted him watching them from the shore.
The girls left the beach after the man got in the water and began to swim towards the group, police said.
His alleged behaviour was reported to police that day.
The 62-year-old was arrested on Arnold Street in Queens Park on January 30 and was charged with four counts of stalking or intimidating with the intent to cause the fear of physical harm.
He was refused bail and his case remains before the court.
