The musician behind the solo act, Marty Zambotto, will sing the high-energy song Milkshake Man at the 69th edition of the global song competition.
Mr Zambotto said the purpose of the song is to "inspire people to embrace the loudest and proudest version of themselves".
"It's an absolute dream come true to represent such a beautiful and diverse nation, and I've never been more excited to share my art and vision with the incredible Eurovision fans around the world!"
Hailing from the small Western Australia rural town of Manjimup, Mr Zambotto grew up in an off-grid house built by his French father with no running water, electricity or phone reception.
He credits this setting as being a spark for his imagination and creativity, something he pursued by choosing music over a dream offer to pursue a career playing AFL.

Mr Zambotto moved to Sydney, where he is now based, and found his feet as a musician, forming his identity as Go-Jo.
The artist has already garnered a fan base outside of Australia having toured across Europe, United States and Southeast Asia. He shared the stage with the Jonas Brothers on their recent Australian tour.
The musician has more than 1.4 million followers across TikTok, YouTube and Instagram and was the ninth most streamed Australian artist in the world in 2023.
'Go off with a bang'
This is the tenth year Australia will contend the competition after a "one-off initiative" in 2015 before Europe quickly fell in love with the Aussie artists and kept inviting us back.
Australia's creative director for Basel Paul Clarke said they realised Go-Jo had a unique connection with audicences the "from the first moment we saw Go-Jo on stage".
"We know he'll get a lot of love from the Eurovision community. This year, we are celebrating Australia's 10th Eurovision entrant, and this one will go off with a bang," Mr Clarke said.
"Milkshake Man is a fresh sound and style for us in Eurovision, and we're thrilled with this track from Go-Jo and the legendary Sheppard songwriting team."
Australia was handed a devastating non-qualification at the 2024 competition, a second for the country after being unable to perform live in 2021 due to COVID-19 border closures. Australia's strongest performance was Dami Im in 2016, placing second behind the Ukrainian winner.

A new artist is not the only fresh face coming to the Australian team in Basel, with long-time commentators Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey announcing they would not be returning for the 2025 competition in December 2024.
"We have absolutely adored watching our Australian artists compete on the world stage, and it's been a privilege to bring that experience to our dedicated Australian Eurovision fans," the pair said in a joint statement at the time.
"We wish SBS and the new hosts all the very best with future broadcasts, and we look forward to getting up super early next year to watch it with the rest of Australia from the couch in our pyjamas," they said.
SBS has yet to announce who will be the replacements for the duo.
Eurovision will be held from Wednesday, May 14 to Sunday, May 18 (Australian time), with Aussies able to watch live on SBS and SBS On Demand.
