The 2019 Senior’s Getting Active event will take place on Thursday, February 28 commencing at 9.30am.
This event has again been sponsored by the Senior’s Festival grant funding that supports organisations such as the Trangie LALC to hold events and activities that provide opportunities for people over 60 to remain active, healthy, engaged and to contribute to their local communities.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
The Trangie Central School students are again supporting and helping to organise the event, with the venue at the Kurrajong Court garden area of the Trangie Multi Purpose Heath Centre being the perfect location.
We are inviting all our senior residents 60 and over as well as the community groups and agencies, families and carers within the shire and beyond.
The morning will commence with a free morning tea, followed by some planned low key activities that will suit all levels of ability.
These activities promote healthy and active lifestyles as well as showing inclusiveness in the community.
For catering purposes if you have a large group of people that would love to come along to the event contact Terrie Milgate on 0427 887 476.
