Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders announced that the school has received $12,606 to complete the project, which would complement school and P&C funding.
"I know water is an issue for people in the Trangie area, and providing access to clean, filtered water for children at the school is a wonderful project," Mr Saunders said.

"Community Building Partnerships is a program aimed at these grassroots projects, and I am excited about the fact the school plans to have the bubblers replaced during the upcoming holiday period."
Trangie Central School P&C treasurer Jaye Milgate said the bubbler replacement project would alleviate concerns within the community.
"The current bubblers are old and dilapidated, and there is concern over the quality of the water the kids have access to, so being able to provide a filtered water system to our kids will be a great benefit to our school community," Ms Milgate said.
"It's not a cheap project, especially for a small school community during the drought, so this funding will allow us to proceed and get it installed as soon as possible."
