
Locals across the Narromine Region now have the chance to nominate and recognise those that make a difference in our community for the 2020 Local Citizen of the Year Awards announced on Australia Day, 26 January 2020.

Australia Day provides a wonderful opportunity to recognise and acknowledge members of our local communities who have made positive contributions and to honour those who have made personal achievements in a range of pursuits including sports, the arts, or study.
"Australia Day is a time to say thank you to those who have gone above and beyond in our community," Narromine Shire Council general manager Jane Redden said.

"The awards ceremonies will be held in Narromine and Trangie on Australia Day and the entire community is encouraged to join in the celebrations.
"Nominate someone who makes a real difference in your community and give them the opportunity to be rewarded and recognised for their important contribution."
If you know a person worthy of a nomination, please complete a nomination form available through the council's website, the council's customer service and payments centre in Narromine, at the Trangie Library and Tomingley BP Service Station by Friday, January 10, 2020.
